KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced on Wednesday afternoon that Spring Hill College women's golfer Katie Callahan has been named a 2013 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete.

BOULDER, Co. – USA Rugby has announced the selection of Spring Hill College Men's and Women's Club Rugby head coach Mollie McCarthy as a head coach for the Girls High School All American (HSAA) Stars and Stripes Program. The Spring Hill College Department of Athletics has announced that seniors Casey Adams and Mariha Partman have been named as the 2012-13 SHC Male and Female Student-Athletes of the Year. Juniors Nick Link and Taryn Nash joined Adams and Partman in receiving department-wide honors by being named the 2012-13 SHC Male and Female Honor Student Athletes of the Year. The J. Lambert Dorn, S.J., Award was presented to senior men's golfer Chris Cartmill of Chesterfield, Mo.

GREENWOOD, Ind.– Sophomore catcher Jade Bourgeois of Spring Hill College was named a 1st team member of the Capital One Academic All-America® Team in softball (College Division) as announced by the Collegiate Sports Information Directors Association (CoSIDA) on Monday afternoon. This award marks the first time in school history that a Badger student-athlete has earned 1st team status on the prestigious list and is the seventh SHC student-athlete overall to earn a spot on the national roster.
