As SID, Jim Stennett handles media relations for the athletic department, coordinates marketing initiatives for athletics and assists in various aspects of game management at Spring Hill sporting events. Stennett was the Sports Information Intern at Auburn University Montgomery (AUM) during the 2006-07 athletic season. Prior to his time at AUM, he served as Director of Ticketing with the Birmingham Barons baseball team at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium from 2001 to 2006 and Director of Media Relations with the Savannah (Ga.) Sand Gnats baseball team in 2000. A 1990 graduate of Mississippi State University, Stennett also holds a MS in Sport Administration from MSU.
