The Spring Hill College men's tennis team lost an SSAC West Division match to the University of Mobile on Friday evening by the score of 9-0 at the UM Tennis Courts.

The Rams (7-0, 2-0 SSAC West) set the tone early by losing only one game in doubles play, as the duos of Fernando Paiva - Karlis Stonis and Marcio Dal Pont - Santiago Quiros each won 8-0 at the first two slots.

Singles was much of the same. In the ten sets played out, the Rams dropped more than one game only twice. Fernando Paiva won 6-0, 6-0 at the top spot, while Quiros and Guilherme Arcaro each won 6-1, 6-0.

The Badgers (3-4, 1-1 SSAC West) will next face Birmingham-Southern College (2-3) in a non-conference neutral site match in Orange Beach, Ala., on Saturday at 10 a.m.
