KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2014 Softball All-America team selected by the NAIA All-America committee and sophomore Caroline Sagrera was named as a 1st team member of the squad for the second consecutive year.

Sagrera, a starting pitcher from Baton Rouge, La., was also a member of the 2014 Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) All-Conference and Capital One Academic All-America teams. She closed the 2014 season with a 1.01 ERA and a 38-11 record with 435 strikeouts in 339.0 innings pitched. Opponents hit just .153 against her in 51 appearances with 46 complete games and 17 shutouts.

Sagrera was an NAIA All-America performer in 2013 and holds numerous SHC career and single-season records including career strikeouts (917), wins (77), complete games (88) and shutouts (35). She has thrown five no-hitters in her two-year career at Spring Hill.
