The Spring Hill College Athletics Department has named sophomore Ryan Hall and senior Adrienne Roberts as the school’s Athletes of the Week for their performances during the week of April 28-May 4, 2008.
Male Athlete of the Week
Hall, a native of Ft. Myers, Fla., was named the 2008 GCAC Gold Glove winner at his centerfield position. Hall collected four hits and two RBI during the GCAC Baseball Tournament where the Badgers advanced to the semifinal round.
Female Athlete of the Week
Roberts, a member of the Lady Badgers golf team, placed seventh among the individual scores at the NAIA Region XIII Tournament held at Meadow Links Golf Course in Ft. Gaines, Ga. The St. Louis, Mo., native shot a three-day total of 248 (+32) to lead all Spring Hill scorers.
