Spring Hill College pitcher Michael Bouché was named to the 2008 Daktronics NAIA Baseball Scholar-Athlete team as announced by the NAIA on Thursday.
Bouché, a junior from Chalmette, La, is majoring in Finance/Economics.
During the 2007-'08 academic year, Spring Hill College placed 14 student-athletes on nine Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete teams bringing the school's total number of Scholar Athletes to 80 since the award began in 1979.Nominated by each institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and have achieved junior academic status to qualify for the Scholar-Athlete award.
