On Wednesday, the Spring Hill College women's tennis team won a conference match with Belhaven College by the score of 6-3 at the Copeland-Cox Tennis Center.
Spring Hill opened the match with wins by Abbey Angelle and Allison Symulevich on the No. 2 doubles court and Lynne Fritscher and Alex Tovar on the No. 3 court.  In singles play, SHC won four of the six matches with wins by McCall Hedrick, Fritscher, Gina Pambianchi and Michelle Brochu.
Belhaven (6-8, 2-4) had wins at No 1 doubles and the Nos. 1 and 2 singles courts.
Spring Hill's women (3-2, 3-2 GCAC) next travel to New Orleans on Friday at 5 p.m. to face No. 16 Xavier University (15-5, 7-0 GCAC).
