Spring Hill College third baseman Brad Holstein was named to the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC) All-Conference team by the conference coaches on Thursday morning at the GCAC Tournament.

Holstein, a sophomore from New Orleans, La., set a new SHC record for RBIs in a season by driving in 64 runs this year.  He also led the Badgers with 12 homeruns and a .646 slugging percentage.

The 6'2", 220 lbs., slugger actually began the year at 1st base, but moved to 3rd base a few weeks into the season and quickly staked his claim to the "hot corner" with a .953 fielding percentage.
