GCAC Runner of the Week Kate Imwalle
Spring Hill College cross country runner Kate Imwalle has been recognized as the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference's (GCAC) Female Runner of the Week for her results at the Trojan Invitational hosted by Troy University on Saturday.
Imwalle, a sophomore from Mobile's McGill-Toolen Catholic High School, ran the 3200-meter course in a time of 12:28 and finished 10th of 50 competitors.
In 2008, Imwalle won the GCAC Championship as a freshman and qualified for the NAIA National Championships.
