The Spring Hill College volleyball team lost a conference volleyball match at Belhaven College in Jackson, Miss., on Saturday afternoon by a 3-1 score (25-16, 19-25, 25-19, 25-20).

Spring Hill junior Cassandra Marchand of Grand Bay, Ala., scored 16 kills with 10 digs while senior libero Missy Williams from Fairhope High School recorded 25 digs giving her 2,118 career digs.

Belhaven evened their record at 17-17 on the season and 5-4 in GCAC play.

Spring Hill College (7-14, 3-7 GCAC) next hosts non-conference foe Talladega College (12-8) at 6 p.m. on Monday.  Before the match the Lady Badgers will celebrate "Senior Night" in recognition of the two senior members of the squad.
