The Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC) has named Spring Hill College student-athletes Bryce Privett and Cassandra Marchand as Conference Players of the Week in their respective sports.

Sophomore forward Bryce Privett from Bayside Academy in Fairhope, Ala., was named the GCAC Male Offensive Soccer Player of the Week following his 4-point performance versus NCAA Division 2 opponent Georgia Southwestern State University on Saturday. Privett scored the Badgers' first goal and contributed the assists on both of the next two goals, including the game-winner with one second remaining in double overtime.

Junior outside hitter Cassandra Marchand from Alma Bryant High School in Grand Bay, Ala., won the GCAC Hitter of the Week in Volleyball with a 35 kills in three matches. She added two assists, five service aces and two blocks to her week's totals, as well. For the season Marchand leads the Lady Badgers with 193 kills.
