Spring Hill College cross country runner Kate Imwalle finished the Cross Country season at the NAIA National Cross Country Championships in Vancouver, Wash., on Saturday.
Imwalle, a sophomore from Mobile's McGill-Toolen Catholic High School, ran the 5-kilometer course in a time of 20:59 and finished 239th of 330 competitors.
The NAIA Women's Individual Champion was Justyna Mudy of Shorter College (Ga.) who ran a time of 17:30. Cal St. San Marcos captured the 2009 NAIA Team Championship with an average time 19:00.
