The Spring Hill College baseball team swept the weekly Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC) awards for the week of February 15-21 as sophomore David Dupuy, Jr. was named the Pitcher of the Week and junior Brad Holstein was named the Player of the Week as selected by the conference Sports Information Directors.
 
Dupuy, a starting right-hander from Mobile's McGill-Toolen Catholic High School, went 6.1 innings to collect his second win of the season in the Badgers' 11-2 win over the Wolfpack on Friday night.  He allowed just one earned run with four strikeouts and two walks.  So far this year, Dupuy holds a 1.50 ERA in 18 innings pitched with 11 strikeouts and just five walks issued.
                     
Holstein, a first baseman from New Orleans, La., hit .538 in the 3-game series sweep over Loyola this weekend. He hit two homeruns on Saturday both of which broke late-inning deadlocks with the Wolfpack. He also scored four runs and drove in seven more while walking twice. In 10 games this season, Holstein is hitting .421 with three homers and 10 RBI. He has committed just one error in 87 fielding chances at first base.
