At the Copeland-Cox Tennis Center, the Spring Hill College men's tennis team rallied from a 2-1 deficit after the doubles matches to defeat NCAA Division II foe St. Joseph's College from Indiana by a 5-4 score in a match resumed on Thursday afternoon following a Wednesday rain delay.

The Badgers found themselves down 2-1 after doubles on Wednesday before rains forced a delay of singles play until 4:15 p.m. on Thursday when Spring Hill stormed back to take four of the six matches and secure a 5-4 victory.

Freshman Burke DeFraites of Lakeside Park, Ky., provided a thrilling comeback from being down two match points before rallying to win 5-7, 7-5, 6-2 over the Puma's (4-3) Miguel Belcina on the No. 3 court.

Spring Hill (3-2, 0-2 GCAC) next plays conference foe William Carey University (1-4, 1-2 GCAC) on Thursday at the Copeland-Cox Tennis Center beginning at 6 p.m.
