Senior shooting guard Marcus Coleman of Wilmer, Ala., has been named to the 2009-2010 NAIA Honorable Mention All America team in Men's Basketball for the second consecutive season.
Coleman finished the year with 489 points scored and averaged 16.9 points per game to lead the Badgers in both categories. Coleman connected on a school-record 122 3-point baskets and was 40% (168-420) in overall shooting from the field.
Nationally, Coleman finished the year as the top 3-point shooter in the NAIA in total 3-pointers made (122) and most treys made per game (4.207).
In his 4-year career at Spring Hill, Coleman also set a new school record for 3-point baskets made with a total of 396 made treys off 955 attempts for a 41.5% success rate. He finished as the program's 11th leading all-time scorer with 1,592 points scored. Coleman tallied 322 rebounds, 291 assists and 112 steals for the Badgers.
