On Saturday, the Spring Hill College women's tennis team defeated conference foe Loyola University by a 7-2 score at the Copeland-cox Tennis Center.
 
The 25th-ranked Lady Badgers (11-6, 9-5 GCAC) led 2-1 after doubles play where they won 8-1 on the No. 2 court and 8-3 on the No. 3 court. Spring Hill then took five of the six singles courts, failing only on No. 1 where McCall Hedrick fell to Loyola's (3-10, 3-8 GCAC) Claire Landry 6-1, 6-0.
