3-Time GCAC Golfer of the Week Will Loweth
Men's Golf - Wed, Apr. 28, 2010
Will Loweth, a senior from Houston, Texas, was named the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week for the third time this season on Wednesday.
Loweth led the Badgers to a team victory at the NAIA Unaffiliated Championships in Georgia on Monday and Tuesday by taking the Individual Championship in a playoff hole following a 3-way tie for first following regulation play. His final score over the par-3, 6861-yard course was a +3, 219 (72, 72, 75).
The Badgers will next play at the NAIA Men's Golf National Championships in Silvis, Ill., on May 19-20.
