The Spring Hill College baseball team had three baseball players win conference recognition with selection to the 2010 Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC) All Conference and Gold Glove teams.
Senior right fielder Ryan Hall (left) of Ft. Myers, Fla., won his second career conference Gold Glove following a season in which he made 103 putouts with nine assists and just one error for a .991 fielding percentage. Hall also started three double plays from the outfield.
Sophomore shortstop Ryan Cummings (right) from Mobile's McGill-Toolen Catholic High School won both All-Conference and Gold Glove honors. This year, he built a .460 average at the plate while collecting a conference leading 87 hits including 12 doubles, five triples and five homeruns. Cummings tallied 50 RBI, took nine of 11 stolen base attempts and fielded his position at a .949 pace with 28 double plays.
Junior All-Conference second baseman Bobby Voss (left) of St. Louis, Mo., hit .366 with five homeruns and 34 RBI. In the field, he held a .974 fielding percentage and turned 22 double plays.
