The Spring Hill College volleyball team will host Jesuit rivals the Loyola University (La.) Wolfpack on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in a match that could decided the Southern States Athletic Conference's (SSAC) West Division.
Loyola (22-11, 4-1 SSAC) and Spring Hill (22-2, 4-1 SSAC) are currently tied for second place and are just a half game behind the University of Mobile (13-12, 5-1 SSAC).
The Badgers lost to the Wolfpack 3-2 in New Orleans earlier this season, but are hungry for retribution on their home court at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center. Since the loss to Loyola, SHC has been on a 17-match winning streak, including its current 10-match shutout run.
Also on Tuesday, the Badgers are holding "CYO Night" in which all current CYO volleyball teams, former players, officials, administrators and coaches will be recognized between sets 2 & 3. There will also be giveaways and children can meet the players following the match.
CYO teams, coaches, sponsors and parents can receive free tickets by contacting Coach Missy Williams at firstname.lastname@example.org
