PENSACOLA, Fla. - The Spring Hill College men's tennis team concluded its fall schedule with an appearance at the University of West Florida Fall Fling on Friday and Saturday.
 
Individually, freshmen Jacob Neu of Lafayette, La., and Andrew DeCotis of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., both took opening and consolation round losses as did sophomore Wil Amanor of Mobile's Murphy High.
 
Senior Chris Link of Louisville, Ky., however, won his opening round match over Jacob Thompson of Abraham Baldwin College, but then fell in the second round to Egyptian National Team member Hossam Meligy of the University of New Orleans (6-1, 6-0).
 
In doubles action, the teams of Neu/Link and DeCotis/Amanor both lost in the opening round, but Neu/Link earned a bye into the second round of consolation play before falling to the independent team of Gomes/Soni (8-5).
