GREENEVILLE, Tenn. - The Spring Hill College women's golf team placed 10th out of 14 teams after the final round of the NAIA Women's National Preview at Links Hill Country on Tuesday.
 
The Badgers slipped into 10th position with second round total of 333 after an opening round of 328 that placed them in the 9th spot after Monday.
 
SHC ended the event with a two-round  team score of +85 (328, 333, 661) over the 72-par, 5805-yard course to finish 49 strokes behind tournament champion Shorter University Hawks who managed a final score of  +36 (308, 304, 612).
 
Freshman Avery Kyle, of Frisco, Texas, finished atop the individual SHC standings and shot a +13 (78, 79, 157) to finish in 20th place out of 70 golfers while sophomore Chelsea Mayer of Baton Rouge, La., posted a +22 (83, 83, 166) for a tie in 44th place.
 
Senior Vickie Gonzalez of Miami, Fla., carded a +23 score (82, 85, 167) for 48th position and junior Annmarie Coan of St, Louis, Mo., finished the SHC scoring at +27 (85, 86, 171) in the 55th spot.
 
Freshman Audrey Dombrowski of St. Louis placed 59th with a +31 score (85, 90, 175).
 
Shorter's Lisa Persson won the individual championship with a +3 score of 147 (72, 75).
