The Spring Hill College men's golf team finished in 11th place out of 12 teams after the final round of the University of Mobile Rams Fall Invitational at Heron Lakes Country Club on Tuesday.
 
The Badgers shot consecutive team scores of 317 on both Monday and Tuesday to card a final score of 634 (+58) to finish 34 strokes behind the tournament's champion Shorter University that carded a +24 score of 600 (291, 309).
 
Senior Eddie Smith of Houston, Texas, shot a +10 (75, 79, 154) across the 6807-yard, par 72 course to finish tied for 26th place out of 81 golfers.
 
Sophomore Joseph Webster from Trussville, Ala., was 31st with a +11 score of 155 (77, 78) and senior Ricky Escobar of Miami, Fla., was 41st (79, 79, 158, +14).
 
Senior Freshman Philip Dugan of Lake Forest, Ill., closed in 48th position (78, 82, 160 +16).
 
Lee University's Tyler Smith was the tournament's individual champion with a -1 par 143 (72, 71).
