GULFPORT, Miss. - The four members of the Spring Hill College men's junior varsity golf team competed at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (MGCCC) Holiday Inn Fall Invitational at Windance Golf Club on Tuesday.
 
Freshman Philip Dugan of Lake Forest, Ill., ended the event tied for 23rd position out of 87 golfers at +8, 152 (81, 71) as the top SHC finisher over the par-72, 6659-yard course.
 
Freshman Spencer Lane from St. Louis, Mo., was 32nd with a score of 155 (78, 77, +11), fellow freshman Danny Wagner, also from St. Louis, closed in 56th place at 161 (82, 79, +17) and Lawton Kenny of Washington, D.C., was 84th with a +45 189 (94, 95).
 
Central Alabama Community College's Christian Humber was the tournament's individual champion with an 8-under-par 136 (66, 70) to pace CACC to the team championship over 12 other teams with a total score of 581 (+5, 290, 291).
