MARIETTA, Ga. - The 2010 Spring Hill College women's cross country team collected nine individual awards from the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) as announced by the conference office on Monday morning.
 
Junior Kate Imwalle from Mobile's McGill-Toolen Catholic High School was named to the All-SSAC squad marking her third consecutive All-Conference appearance.  Imwalle will also run the 2010 NAIA National Championships in Vancouver, Wash., on Saturday.

Seven SHC runners qualified for the 2010 SSAC All-Academic Team. Along with Imwalle, junior Ashley Derenbecker, of Bay St. Louis, Miss., senior Lynne Fritscher of Covington, La., senior Devanne Piccini from Grand Bay, Ala., sophomore Rebecca Pol of Alpharetta, Ga., sophomore Payton Tanner of Fairhope, Ala., and senior Ceci Venker of St. Louis, Mo., earned recognition for their successful efforts in the classroom and on the race course.
