The Spring Hill College women's golf team shot a 2-day team score of 703 to finish third of four teams at the annual Badger Invitational on Monday and Tuesday.
 
Lindenwood University took the team title at this year's event with a total score of 684 and Megan Burgess of Lindenwood captured the individual crown with a score of 158 over the par-72, 5625-yard course.
 
Individually for the Badgers, freshman Avery Kyle of Frisco, Texas, finished in 3rd place with a score of 169 (+25) while senior Victoria Gonzalez of Miami, Fla., and freshman Katie Callahan of Prairie Village, Kan., finished with scores of 174. Freshman Audrey Dombrowski of St. Louis, Mo., carded a 186 score while freshman Elena Hall withdrew after the first round of play.
 
Other Badgers who competed individually were senior Anna Beykirch of Sedalia, Mo., who shot a 190 and freshman Shelley Husband who closed with a final 210.
