The Spring Hill College baseball team dropped the rubber game of its 3-game conference set at the University of Mobile as the Rams blanked the Badgers 3-0 on Sunday afternoon.
The Rams (14-6, 2-1 SSAC West) scored single runs in the 2nd, 4th, and 6th innings.
Brady King drove in Cody Barber with a double to plate the game's second run in the 4th and Barber also scored the Rams' third run in the 6th frame off a single by Keith Granger.
For the Badgers, Brian Sims and John Hollingsworth both tallied two hits while Brad Holstein drove a double to left field to leadoff the 9th inning.
Barber had two hits for UM and Granger collected two RBI for the home team.
Stephen Herrington (1-1) took a complete-game loss in the effort and allowed seven hits with four walks and a strikeout.
Jacob Knowles moved to 4-1 with the win and lasted seven innings with five hits, one walk and three strikeouts. Josh Blaylock added his third save of the year by pitching the final three outs with one hit, a walk and a strikeout.
The Badgers (9-8, 1-2 SSAC West) will play Lyon College (8-6) in a non-conference doubleheader at Stan Galle Field on Monday at 1 p.m.
