The Spring Hill College women's golf team shot a 2-day team score of 680 (+104) and finished 2nd of three teams at the University of Mobile/Spring Hill College Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at Azalea City Golf Course.
The Badgers shot an opening round of 343 and a final round of 337 over the par-72, 5821-yard course.
Individually for the Badgers, freshman Avery Kyle of Frisco, Texas, finished in 3rd place out of 16 golfers with a score of 157 (80, 77, +13) while senior Victoria Gonzalez of Miami, Fla., carded a 163 (78, 85, +19) to close in 6th position.
Freshman Katie Callahan of Prairie Village, Kan., finished with a score of 174 (87, 87, +30) in her 3rd consecutive event for a 7th place tie.
Freshman Audrey Dombrowski of St. Louis, Mo., carded a 186 (98, 88, +42) score and landed in 11th place and sophomore Shelley Husband of Covington, La., rounded out the field with a score of 203 (106, 97, +59).
The University of Mobile's Ann Nahl was the individual winner with a score of 155 (81, 74, +11).
