The Spring Hill College baseball team split a nonconference home doubleheader with the LSU Alexandria Generals on Tuesday evening, falling 4-1 in 10 innings in the first game and rebounding in the second contest to win 17-5 in five innings at historic Stan Galle Field.
The Generals blew open a 1-1 tie in the 10th inning of the first game with a 2-run single by shortstop Derek Goyne with one out.
LSUA (11-31) took Game 1 behind a complete-game, 10-inning performance by Aryo Fleming (3-3) who gave up nine hits with two walks and 14 strikeouts.
