COLUMBUS, Ga. - The 2010-11 Spring Hill College men's golf team brought back six postseason awards from the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) Championships as chosen by the head coaches of the eight teams on Wednesday.
 
Sophomore Joseph Webster of Trussville, Ala., was named to the 2011 Musco Lighting-SSAC Champions of Character Team from the Badger squad. This award recognizes an individual from each participating school who encompasses the five core character values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship and servant leadership that stand at the heart of the NAIA Champions of Character program.
 
Six Badgers appeared on the 16-member SSAC All Academic team. Seniors Chris Coleman from McGill-Toolen Catholic High School in Mobile and Ricky Escobar of Miami, Fla., joined junior John Sabio of St. Louis, Mo., along with sophomores Alan Flood of Fort Wright, Ky., Chris Cartmill of Chesterfield, Mo., and Nathan Ceille from Hales Corners, Wis., on the list of top classroom performers.
