PINEVILLE, La. – The Spring Hill College women's soccer team expanded its current winning streak to three games with a 6-0 non-conference victory at Louisiana College in a constant downpour due to Tropical Storm Lee on Saturday afternoon.

Freshman midfielder Erin Claxton from Calgary, Alberta, Canada scored the first two goals for Spring Hill and fellow freshman Madeline Galen of St. Louis, Mo., made the score 3-0 from her forward position just before intermission.

Senior forward Abby Galen tacked on two more goals in less than three minutes of play to open the second half while senior Amber O'Connor from Ham Lake, Minn., closed the scoring with a goal late in the contest.

Abby Massengale, a freshman keeper from New Orleans, La., pocketed her first career shutout in goal and moved to 3-0 on the year.

The Wildcats fell to 0-2 on the campaign.

Spring Hill (3-1) will host NCAA Division 2 opponent Delta State University (0-1) at Library Field beginning at 2 p.m. on Friday.
