The Spring Hill College men's soccer team wrapped up its 2011 regular season schedule with a 5-0 conference loss at the 5th-ranked University of Mobile Rams on Saturday night.
Mobile (15-1-1, 10-1-1 SSAC) was led by Deshorn Brown who scored goals in the 16th, 42nd and 81st minute for a natural hat trick off assists by Sam Blackburn, Stephen Okai and Marc Joseph, respectively.
The Rams opened the scoring in the 5th minute of play with an unassisted goal from Gunnar Steindorsson and Blackburn tallied Mobile's fourth goal of the night in the 69th minute via an assist by Eoin Dolan.
Freshman Badger keeper Gabriel Jaramillo of Miami, Fla., made six saves versus 25 shots by Mobile while the Rams split time in goal between Xavier Audergon who faced two shots with no saves and Kyle Buxton who notched a save against five SHC shots.
Mobile took six corner kicks and SHC took just one attempt from the corner.
As the 8th seed, Spring Hill (10-8, 5-7) will return to the University of Mobile Soccer Field at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday to again face the top-seeded Rams in the first round of the 2011 Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) Tournament.
