SELMA, Ala. – The Spring Hill College women's basketball team fell in a 67-50 non-conference outcome to the Concordia College-Selma Lady Hornets on Tuesday evening at the Jenkins Center.
The Badgers trailed 31-25 at the half and fell down by as much as 15 points early in the second period.
Junior center April Bradford had 14 points and 13 rebounds for her second consecutive double-double performance for SHC.
The Badgers knocked down 31.5% (17-54) of their total shots and were 5-of-21 (23.8%) in attempts from outside the arc.
For the Hornets, Rahida Young scored 20 points.
CCS shot 46.8% (29-62) and made none of their four attempts from three-point land. The Hornets also out-rebounded SHC 42-32.
The Badgers continued to struggle with turnovers by giving the ball away 21 times in the face of eight CCS steals while the Hornets gave up the ball 17 times versus seven nine Badger steals.
Spring Hill (2-3) will wrap up their current six-game road swing with a non-conference tilt at Dillard University (0-2) on Tuesday at 5 p.m. in New Orleans, La.
