Caroline Sagrera signs to play with Coach Alison Sellers-Cook

MOBILE, Ala. – Spring Hill College head softball coach Alison Sellers-Cook announced on Monday that pitcher Caroline Sagrera of St. Joseph's Academy in Baton Rouge, La., has signed to play with the Badgers.

A three-time All-District and All-Metro selection out of Louisiana's District 5-5A, Sagrera was the District MVP as a junior. In her sophomore and junior seasons, she was named to the 5A All-State Honorable Mention team and won All-State honors last season.

Sagrera currently holds the St. Joseph's Academy career strikeout record and recorded her 1,000th career strikeout on March 17, 2012. She currently has 232 strikeouts in her senior season and has won the past three team MVP Awards at SJA.

Away from the diamond, Sagrera is a member of the BETA, Spanish and Respect Life clubs, as well as serving on the Liturgy Committee and being a recipient of the Service Award.
