The Badgers then erupted for three runs in the 4th inning off BU starter Bayleigh Babin (8-5) when left fielder Mariha Partman led off with a homer to left-center and two batters later shortstop Shea Blanchard launched a 2-run blast out of left field.

Right fielder Katelyn Hinson made it a 4-1 SHC lead with a sacrifice fly in the 5th inning and 1st baseman Jenny Laird successfully executed a sacrifice squeeze bunt for an RBI in the 6th to extend the Badger advantage to 5-1.

Despite giving up a second run in the final frame, Ingles evened her record at 6-6 on the year for the Badgers with the complete-game victory allowing eight hits, three walks and a strikeout.
