Senior J.D. Sabio earned his second All-Academic nod

PASS CHRISTIAN, Miss. – The 2011-12 Spring Hill College men's golf team collected six individual postseason awards from the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) as chosen by the head coaches of the 10 member institutions this week.

Adam Spiller (right), a freshman from Mobile's Cottage Hill Christian Academy, was named to the 2012 Musco Lighting/SSAC Champions of Character team. This award recognizes an individual from each participating school who encompasses the five core character values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship and servant leadership that stand at the heart of the NAIA Champions of Character program.

The Badgers earned five spots on the SSAC All-Academic Team as Nathan Ceille, a junior Marketing/Management major from Hales Corner, Wis., was joined by teammates Chris Cartmill who is a junior Biology major from Chesterfield, Mo., Rickie Lee who is a sophomore Finance & Economics major from Bayou LaBatre, J.D. Sabio who is a senior from St. Louis, Mo., majoring in both Marketing/Management and Finance & Economic, and Danny Wagner who is a sophomore from St. Louis majoring in Accounting.
