The Spring Hill College Department of Athletics has named soccer player Andrew McInnis and volleyball setter Taryn Nash as its USA ROTC-Spring Hill College Student-Athletes of the Week for their accomplishments during the week of August 27-September 2, 2012.

McInnis, a freshman forward from Mandeville, La., tallied a goal and an assist in the Badgers 5-2 victory over the University of St. Thomas on Saturday. In three matches this year, he has scored three goals and recorded seven points to lead Spring Hill in both categories.

Nash, a junior from Independence, Mo., handed out 125 assists in four matches over the weekend in Houston, Texas. She has now distributed 215 assists in seven matches while knocking down 21 kills, making 58 digs, serving seven aces and stoning four blocks.

In recognition of this honor, each week's winners of USA ROTC-Spring Hill College Student-Athletes of the Week award will receive a T-shirt, water bottle and handy gym bag compliments of the University of South Alabama ROTC.
