KANSAS CITY, Mo. – On Tuesday afternoon, the Spring Hill College men's soccer team received 22 votes in the 2012 NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll to appear in the "Receiving Votes" category for the first time this season.
SHC (5-0) would be rated No. 33 in the NAIA if the rankings extended that far.
The NAIA poll is voted on by a panel of head coaches representing each of the NAIA conferences, independents and unaffiliated groups.
Other Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) members ranked in the poll include Auburn University Montgomery (2-1-1) at No. 3, Belhaven University (5-0) at No. 4, Southern Polytechnic State (3-1) at No. 8, Lee University (3-2-1) at No. 18, the University of Mobile (2-1-1) at No. 21, and William Carey University (2-2-1) under "Receiving Votes."
