The Spring Hill College volleyball team rolled to a 3-0 conference victory over Truett-McConnell College by the scores of 25-7, 25-10, 25-8 on Saturday morning at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center.
Spring Hill was paced by sophomore Megan Haber of Lillian, Ala., with 10 kills and a .692 attack percentage. Freshman setter Mallory Raulerson also distributed 29 assists for her career high.
As a team, SHC collected four total blocks and ended the day with a .594 attack percentage (43-5-64) while holding TMC to a .000 attack percentage (15-15-50) and one block.
The Bears (1-13, 0-9 SSAC) were led by Emily Grooms with five kills and Jordan Malaier with 11 assists. Jessica Porter added six digs and 27 receptions for the Bears.
The Badgers (19-3, 9-0 SSAC) will travel to New Orleans, La., on Monday to face the Southern University-New Orleans (SUNO) Knights (14-3) for a non-conference match at The Castle beginning at 5 p.m. in a make-up of a previous match postponed due to Hurricane Isaac.
