BRUNSWICK, Ga. – The Spring Hill College volleyball team won a 3-0 conference verdict at the College of Coastal Georgia by the scores of 25-11, 25-13, 25-23 on Friday night in the first-ever meeting of the two programs.
Sophomore Megan Haber of Lillian, Ala., recorded 16 kills for Spring Hill while junior Sha Sha Buchanan of Mobile added 12 more kills to the Badger totals. Junior Meredith Donald of Mobile brought in 16 digs on defense.
With the win over the Mariners (9-14, 3-6 SSAC), Spring Hill is now on a 14-match winning streak dating back to September 8.
The Badgers (21-3, 10-0 SSAC) will wrap up their current four-game road swing with a conference match at Brewton-Parker College (5-10, 1-8 SSAC) on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Mount Vernon, Ga.
