The Spring Hill College women's soccer team battled to a 0-0 conference home draw with the 19th-ranked Auburn University Montgomery (AUM) Warhawks on Saturday afternoon at Library Field.
The Badgers and the Warhawks fought through 110 total minutes of game time and could reach no decision as SHC goalkeeper sophomore Abby Massengale of New Orleans, La., made 12 saves against 31 shots by AUM with none bigger than the back-to-back stops of two shots within 4 seconds by Warhawk Eyrun Rakel Agnarsdottir in the 99th minute of play.
Warhawk keeper Holly Clarke made two saves against five shots by SHC. AUM took three corner kicks while SHC attempted none.
AUM (9-4-2, 4-4-1 SSAC) entered the match on a four-game losing streak.
Spring Hill (5-9-1, 2-6-1 SSAC) will next visit Faulkner University in Montgomery, Ala., on Thursday for a 5 p.m. conference match with the Lady Eagles (6-9-1, 4-4-1 SSAC) at John Mark Stallings Field.
