Spring Hill College volleyball setter Taryn Nash achieved a major milestone on Tuesday night at Dillard University as she recorded 28 assists to surpass the Badgers' career record for assists with a current total of 3585 handouts, breaking the previous mark of 3578 set by Carley Whitfield during the 2002-2004 seasons.

A junior from Independence, Mo., Nash was an honorable mention selection to the 2011 Tachikara-NAIA All-America team as a sophomore and is averaging 10.43 assists per set in her career.

So far in her career, the International Studies major has also tallied 192 kills for an attack percentage of .326 along with 84 service aces and 105 total blocks, including 19 solo blocks.

The Badgers (27-3) will host Shorter University (15-5) in a non-conference contest on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m. in the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center.
