MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Spring Hill College men's soccer team used two late goals to surge past Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) foe the Faulkner University Eagles 3-1 on Thursday night at John Mark Stallings Field.
With the Eagles (4-10-1, 2-7-1 SSAC) and the Badgers tied at 1-1, Spring Hill scored in the 83rd and 86th minutes to blow open a hard-fought contest.

It also clinches the Badgers a spot in the 2012 SSAC Championship Tournament with the opening round sites to be determined following the outcomes of Saturday's matches.
Spring Hill (10-6-1, 5-4-1 SSAC) will host arch-rivals and 9th-ranked the University of Mobile Rams (12-3-1, 8-2 SSAC) in a conference match on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. on Library Field to close out the 2012 regular season for both teams.
