KANSAS CITY, Mo. – On Friday afternoon, the Spring Hill College men's golf team received 21 votes in the 2012 NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Preseason Poll to appear in the "Receiving Votes" category.

The Badgers would be rated No. 34 in the NAIA if the rankings extended that far.

The NAIA poll is voted on by a panel of head coaches representing each of the NAIA conferences, independents and unaffiliated groups.

Other Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) members ranked in the poll include Lee University at No. 7, the College of Coastal Georgia at No. 11, and Southern Wesleyan University at No. 22. Faulkner University also appeared under "Receiving Votes."
