The Spring Hill College Department of Athletics has named basketball players Robert Drummond and Armanee' Broussard as its USA ROTC-Spring Hill College Student-Athletes of the Week for their accomplishments on the court during the week of November 19-25, 2012.
Drummond, a sophomore guard from Fairhope, Ala., came off the bench versus St. Thomas (Fla.) on Tuesday night to score a game-high 19 points with three rebounds, two assists and two steals. For the season, he is shooting 42.9% (18-42) and averaging 7.0 points per game with 20 rebounds, seven assists and six steals.
Broussard, a freshman guard from Lafayette, La., is averaging 5.9 points per game in 14 minutes per game as a key reserve for the Badgers this season. She's shooting 34.1% (14-41) from the field including 27.6% (8-29) from 3-point distance.
In recognition of this honor, each week's winners of USA ROTC-Spring Hill College Student-Athletes of the Week award will receive a T-shirt, water bottle and handy gym bag compliments of the University of South Alabama ROTC.
