DENMARK, S.C. – The Spring Hill College women's basketball team won a non-conference road contest at Voorhees College by the score of 76-54 on Monday evening.
SHC led Voorhees (10-9) 44-30 at the half.
Freshman guard Armanee' Broussard of Lafayette, La., paced the Badgers with 17 points while sophomore point guard Elissa VandeWaa from Spanish Fort, Ala., added 13 points and freshman center Leah Washington contributed another eight points with eight rebounds.
Defensively, senior center April Bradford of Pensacola, Fla., pulled in 10 rebounds and slapped away seven blocks.
The Badgers (9-11, 5-5 SSAC West) will return home to host 24th-ranked Faulkner University (17-4, 7-2 SSAC West) in an SSAC West Division matchup on Saturday beginning at 2 p.m. in the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center.
