NORCROSS, Ga. – The Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) has named Spring Hill College sophomore Elise Michaelis as its Player of the Week in Women's Tennis for the week of February 11-17, 2013.

Michaelis completed a near perfect week playing both singles and doubles in the No. 1 spot. Michaelis helped improve the team record to 3-0 while improving her singles and doubles record to 3-0 each. Her doubles team won 8-1 and in singles she won in straight sets 6-0, 6-0.

The Badgers (3-0, 1-0 SSAC West) will visit Jesuit rival Loyola University (2-4, 0-3 SSAC West) in a non-conference match on Friday at 3 p.m. at the University of New Orleans.
