NORCROSS, Ga. – Spring Hill College starter Caroline Sagrera was named the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) Softball Pitcher of the Week for the week of February 18-24, 2013, for her no-hit performance versus Huntingdon College on Wednesday  afternoon.

Pitching in just her second collegiate contest, the freshman from Baton Rouge, La., struck out 15 Hawks after walking the first batter of the game on four consecutive pitches. For the season, Sagrera (2-0) holds a 1.0 ERA in 14 innings pitched with 22 strikeouts, four walks and five hits allowed.

The Badgers (4-0) will host the Point University Skyhawks (4-4) in a non-conference game at Murray Field on Friday beginning at 1 p.m.
