The Spring Hill College women's golf team finished in 2nd place out of seven teams at the annual Badger Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at Spring Hill Golf Course. The 25th-ranked Badgers shot a two-round total of 701 (358, 343, +125) over the 5810-yard, par 72 course to finish 26 strokes behind the tournament's champion the University of Mobile (338, 337, +99).

Individually, Badger  junior Avery Kyle of Plano, Texas, put down a total of 162 for a final tally of +18 (81, 81) and a 2nd place finish while junior Katie Callahan of Prairie Village, Kan., finished in 7th place out of 36 competitors in a +31 score of 175 (93, 82).

Junior Audrey Dombrowski of St. Louis, Mo., shot a +37 total of 181 (87, 94) for 11th place and sophomore Rachel Failla of New Orleans, La., carded a +40 (98, 86, 184) to finish in 15th place.

Freshman Alexandria Ryals of Mobile was 22nd (99, 94, 193, +49), junior Shelley Husband from Pass Christian, Miss., was 27th (105, 97, 202, +58) and freshman Eva Mareno of Grand Bay, Ala., was 31st in a score of 214 (103, 111, 214).

The Badger ladies will next tee off in the William Carey University Classic at Canebreak Country Club in Hattiesburg, Miss., on March 17-19.
