HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Spring Hill College club men's golf team finished 8th of 8 teams at the Carey Collegiate Classic held at Canebrake Country Club on Monday and Tuesday with a combined team score of 666 (336, 330, +98) over the par 71 course.

Individually, Gerry Portela was 9th with scores of 75 and 75 during the two-day event for a total of +8, 150. Cade Landeche was 35th (86, 84, 170, +28), Trent Hayes was also 37th out of 43 golfers with a tally of 88, 84, 172, +30.

Michael Hayes was 38th (87, 87, 174, +32) and Matthew Franz was 42nd (88, 91, 179, +37).
