On Wednesday, the Spring Hill College Lady Badgers soccer team swept both weekly honors awarded by the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference. Sophomore forward Kasey Pruett of Flower Mound, Texas, won the Offensive Player of the Week award for the third week this season while teammate Mary Sullivan of St. Louis, Mo., won her first Defensive Player of the Week award.

During the week of October 15-21, Pruett scored three goals and added an assist in two matches, a 3-3 tie at No. 14 William Carey University and a 4-1 home victory over Belhaven College. 

Sullivan, a senior, was recognized for her skillful defensive play and leadership.  She has played a major role in the Lady Badgers' school record 10-win season that includes eight shutouts.

The Spring Hill women (10-6-2, 4-2-2) next play LSU-Shreveport on Friday at 11 a.m. in Hattiesburg, Miss., at the GCAC Tournament.
